
The Hero Championships is an annual martial arts mega event where competitors of all ages and skill levels can compete for medals and awards. With a diverse variety of events to enter, competitors can demonstrate their knowledge in demonstrations such as hand drills and forms whilst also having the option to show their competitive side in events such as kick challenges and point based sparring.

Organized by Hero Martial Arts Schools, the Hero Championships is an event which truly promotes the core value of martial arts: self discipline, self respect, respect for others and the consistent pursuit of personal growth.
Hosted in The Triangle Leisure Centre, Burgess Hill, the Hero Championships is an inclusive and friendly event that aims to bring out the best in everyone whilst bringing people closer together.

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to stay and cheer on their competitors. Please keep in mind there is a fee to gain entrance.
Every competitor gets one free spectator with their entry ticket.

Yes, as long as it is non-branded. Alternatively you should use our official sparring equipment from Blitz sports. Contact your instructor for more information.

I’m not an orange belt, can I compete in sparring?
Yes, as long as you have the full correct sparring kit you are welcome to compete. Please note the division will begin at orange belt so you will be competing with orange belts and above. Please speak to your instructor beforehand.
